The Scarborough Select German Shepherd Schutzhund Club
evolved in 1992 from Lakeside Schutzhund Club. Aaron
Winsor, Farzin Lachini, Jim Binning and Hans Vlug, left
Lakeside to begin a club of their own. Aaron was President,
Farzin, Training Director and Jim was Treasurer. After
approximately 10 years, they decided to break ranks and
train on their own in various locations. Scarborough Select
was incorporated March 1993. A field was located in Markham
adjoining the Markham Airport where we continue to train
today. We have been successful in titling a number of dogs
and our membership continues to grow.
The establishment and operation of a German Shepherd
